Leftists melt down after Sarah Sanders calls Jemele Hill’s defamatory jabs a ‘fireable offense by ESPN’

Twitter moonbats had a collective meltdown after White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said spewing defamatory barbs like the kind ESPN’s Jemele Hill spouted is a “fireable offense.”

Sanders made the remark during a WH press briefing after being asked to comment on Hill’s defamatory jab calling President Trump a “white supremacist” who “surrounds himself with other white supremacists.”

“I think that’s one of the more outrageous comments that anyone could make, and certainly something that I think is a fireable offense by ESPN,” Huckabee Sanders said.

Predictably, race-baiting grievance mongers on Twitter and in mainstream media — which is 97% liberal — trashed Sanders for saying defaming someone is a fireable offense. Hello? It is, in almost every workplace.

Race-baiting ESPN got green light to push left-wing propaganda from Disney CEO Bob Iger

Not only can you get fired for defaming someone, but you can get sued. Insulting someone is one thing, but defaming someone is a very serious matter. That’s why we have laws against defamation and legal avenues to address them.

Unhinged liberals who don’t understand English also accused Sanders of demanding that Jemele Hill be fired, and said Sanders was trying to squelch her free-speech rights. That’s wrong on both counts: Sanders did not call for anyone to be fired, nor did she say Hill doesn’t have the right to speak out.

One moron even dissed Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ hair. Are you serious? At least her hair is real and not a cheap weave with visibly dirty tracks like Jemele.  Girl, bye. ?

Meanwhile, many people were outraged that ESPN did not condemn Hill‘s defamatory diss against the ENTIRE Trump administration.

Some called for Hill’s firing, pointing to the precedent ESPN had itself set when it fired baseball analyst Curt Shilling for posting a meme about transgender bathrooms, and for pulling an Asian-American broadcaster named Robert Lee from announcing a football game because they were afraid leftists might confuse him with dead Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

Conservatives support unfettered free speech and do not demand that someone be fired for saying something stupid or politically incorrect. That is the liberal M.O. But now the radical left is whining because conservatives have turned the tables and started fighting back using the left’s own tactics against them. Too bad, so sad.

Meanwhile, Fox Sports 1 host Jason Whitlock — a former ESPN writer — said ESPN has made a big mistake by letting divisive politics infiltrate its sports coverage because fans don’t want that. They watch sports to escape and be entertained, not to be lectured. It’s no wonder ESPN’s ratings are in free fall.

“ESPN has chosen a lane politically,” Whitlock told Fox News. “[ESPN President] John Skipper has certainly made ‘diversity’ in his view a business innovation for ESPN and has moved the company to the left. So I think no action here against Jemele Hill is a clear sign that they’re in agreement.”

Whitlock said ESPN and bombastic personalities like Jemele attack President Trump because they’re pandering for Twitter followers and retweets.

“Attacking the president is a way to get retweeted and liked and to build your following,” Whitlock said. “Hill just fell into that trap that a lot of us in the media fall into. We’re way too worried about how many people follow us on Twitter and how many people like us.”

Meanwhile, conservatives applauded Sanders for speaking her mind.

Oh, and Jemele is *not* sorry for her comments.

So enjoy the fallout, girl.
