There seemed no end to attacks on White House Senior Adviser Stephen Miller after his clash with CNN’s Jim Acosta over the poem inscribed on the base of Statue of Liberty.
While Acosta was mocked after Miller shut down his rant about immigrants speaking English during Wednesday’s press briefing, the left heaped abuse on Miller.
But perhaps no outburst was as strange – and desperate – as that by CNN’s Chris Moody.

Moody penned a trip down memory lane, revealing his thoughts on the “provocative, controversial, unpredictable and unforgettable” Miller he knew from his high school years.
“I could see Stephen Miller’s political career taking root when we were just 16 years old,” Moody wrote, recalling the summer camp where students created a mock government.
“Miller made an aggressive effort to become a leader of our adolescent experiment in mock government. The speech he delivered to get elected — and what he did after his victory — are moments I’ll never forget, even more so now that he’s in a position of real power,” Moody continued in his piece.
“Now 31, Miller is one of the most prominent West Wing staffers, known as a mini-Trump of sorts who can deliver a rapid-fire — sometimes fact-challenged — defense of the President on the Sunday shows that delights Trump even if it confounds almost everyone else,” he wrote.
