Police look for teen suspects as video of unprovoked, vicious attack on youngsters goes viral

Shocking cell phone video captured a group of teens violently punching and kicking other defenseless teens in an unprovoked attack.

As the disturbing video makes its way on social media, Massachusetts police are hoping the images will help lead to the identification of those responsible for the assault, according to WFXT-TV.

** WARNING: VIDEO CONTAINS DISTURBING IMAGES **

The attack on a dock in Quincy was reported around 5 pm and video shows a group of boys surround another group and begin taunting and spitting on them. The verbal assault then turned physical as one of the boys turned to walk away but was violently thrown to the ground where he covered his head to protect himself from the kicking and punching of the others.

As the boy got up and began to walk away, a second teen was grabbed and attacked in the same manner.

The attacking teens fled the scene by the time Quincy and Massachusetts State Police arrived, according to WFXT.

Police hope that viewers of the video will be able to identify the teens, though they asked that their names not be posted on social media.
