“What do they care? They get to go home every night to their families.”
CIA Director Mike Pompeo earned a thunderous round of applause Thursday night when he blasted a New York Times columnist to his face because his publication revealed the name of an undercover operative.

“We had a publication you work for Bret, that published the name of an undercover officer at the Central Intelligence Agency,” a visibly angry Pompeo told Bret Stephens onstage at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado. “I find that unconscionable.”
Fox News chief national correspondent Ed Henry reported on Pompeo’s comment during “The Five.”
“What he was particularly angry about, the president’s CIA Director, is the fact that The New York Times back in early June published an account of the new chief of Iran operations at the Central Intelligence Agency,” Henry began his report
“It justified to The New York Times publishing, at least in their eyes, the name of this clandestine official because they wanted to tell the public about the Trump administration’s approach to Iran and how it was going to be more aggressive than the Obama administration,” Henry explained.

Finally one observed:
What do they care? They get to go home every night to their families.

“So, this is a dramatic development tonight, the CIA director is saying that this could put this official in jeopardy and that the name should never have been published,” Henry concluded.
Meanwhile the Times reporters “get to go home every night to their families,” safe and sound.
