Reporter defies WH and livestreams audio briefing, but did she REALLY think this through?

An obscure reporter named Ksenija Pavlovic live-streamed an audio recording of the White House press briefing on Wednesday, in defiance of WH rules banning live video and audio coverage.

The Trump administration recently ended on-camera briefings after leftist reporters routinely hijacked the event to get their 15 minutes of fame or used them to take cheap shots at President Trump on live TV.

CNN’s Jim Acosta is the most egregious example of this, having interrupted more than one White House press briefing in a bid to become a YouTube star.

Ksenija Pavlovic — who reports for her self-named “media” outfit Pavlovic Today — tweeted the audio. That’s the thanks the egalitarian Trump White House gets for allowing obscure “media outlets” to attend their briefings.

Pavlovic was born in the former Yugoslavia, according to her Wikipedia page, which she obviously created and edited herself.

Rinky-dink outfits like Pavlovic’s generally were not allowed under the Obama WH, which gave preference to media giants like CNN, MSNBC, Fox, and network news.

Predictably, anti-Trump leftists hailed Pavlovic as a “patriot” and a “hero” for defying the Trump White House and streaming her dull audio recordings. Imagine a scenario where you go to a foreign country, attend a press briefing at the president’s house, cavalierly break the rules, and then brag about it on social media.

Historically, the White House press briefing was a pro forma event where no news was ever broken. Fox News’ Brit Hume — who covered the White House under Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and Bill Clinton — said he often skipped the briefings, and so did many of his colleagues back in the day.

The Obama White House rarely televised their briefings (and no one complained). But the media realized they were ratings cash cows under President Trump, so many reporters keep agitating for them to be televised again. Given this latest stunt, it’s unlikely the Trump White House will yield.

Meanwhile, Ksenija Pavlovic’s stunt drew the scorn of law-abiding citizens.
