Secret Service agents accused of taking selfies with Trump’s sleeping grandson – is there a pattern here?

President Trump needs to drain the swamp at the Secret Service.

In another disgusting breach of protocol, two Secret Service agents are being investigated for taking selfies with the president’s grandson, Donald Trump III, while the 8-year-old was asleep.

The incident occurred last weekend, when the two unnamed agents were assigned to protect Trump III as a motorcade transported him from Westchester County to Manhattan. He was asleep in the car when the Secret Service agents allegedly began taking selfies.

Donald Trump III abruptly woke up and then “freaked out,” a source with knowledge of the matter told Mother Jones. The boy’s mother, Vanessa Trump, alerted her husband, Donald Trump Jr., and the matter was relayed to Secret Service management.

Secret Service needs to wake the hell up before they get Trump killed, former agent warns

The source said the Secret Service agents were being investigated for dereliction of duty, and not for criminal behavior. On Thursday, a Secret Service rep confirmed that an investigation was underway:

The US Secret Service is aware of a matter involving two of our agents and one of our protectees. Our Office of Professional Responsibility will always thoroughly review a matter to determine the facts and to ensure proper, long-standing protocols and procedures are followed. The Secret Service would caution individuals to not jump to conclusions that may grossly mischaracterize the matter.

Senior Secret Service agent Kerry O’Grady refuses to protect President Trump.

This isn’t the first time that Secret Service agents hired under the Obama administration have behaved unprofessionally.

In January, senior Secret Service agent Kerry O’Grady came under fire after saying she won’t defend President Trump because she doesn’t like him. O’Grady was placed on a 6-week paid administrative leave amid public calls for her firing.

President Trump’s first three months in the White House have been marred by sneaky insubordination from Obama holdovers and a series of damaging press leaks designed to undermine his administration.

Fired national security adviser Michael Flynn was the first casualty of the sabotage. Aides have since urged President Trump to clean house and get rid of Obama loyalists and bring in an entirely new team that is loyal to him.
