Sean Spicer shuts down hostile reporter when her ‘question’ turns out to be a rude insult

Alexis Simendinger thinks she can tell press secretary Sean Spicer whom he can call on during White House press briefings.

She got spiced!

White House press secretary Sean Spicer shut down Alexis Simendinger after the Real Clear Politics reporter nagged Spicer to call on her comrade from the New York Times.

The mainstream media is clearly a leftist clique united against the Trump administration. On Thursday, Spicer called on Simendinger during a heated press briefing.

Instead of asking her own question, Alexis snarked: “Could you help us all by calling on Peter right now? Could you call on the New York Times, please?”

Peter Baker is the White House reporter for the New York Times. He, along with all the other White House reporters, must raise their hands to get called on.

In stark contrast to Obama’s elitist press secretary, Sean Spicer tries to be fair and give all press outlets — not just the big-name ones — a chance to be heard.

Spicer replied to Simendinger’s inane request by saying: “I actually call the questions, Alexis. If you don’t want to ask your question, I can call on somebody else. Thank you.”

Spicer then moved on to another reporter.

The incident spotlights the increasingly hostile and unprofessional attitude the mainstream media have been taking toward Sean Spicer and President Trump.

Spicer has repeatedly slammed the media’s over-the-top anti-Trump bias and its constant attempts to undermine the Trump administration with lame “gotcha!” questions.

Sadly, the moonbat lunacy continues even outside the White House press room. Last weekend, Spicer was ambushed by an unhinged anti-Trumper while shopping at an Apple store.

A crazed Indian-American woman named Shree Chauhan accosted Spicer, accused him of being a criminal, and “working for a fascist.” Chauhan later posted the video on social media and bragged about harassing Spicer.

Spicer did get a brief respite from all the left-wing hate at Trump’s Nashville rally, where he received a “rock star’s” welcome.
