Clinton spokeswoman: Hillary lost because white women are ‘misogynists’ or something

It’s time to break out the violins again.  Former Hillary Clinton spokeswoman Jess McIntosh said white women’s “internalized misogyny” is the reason why Clinton lost the election.

When MSNBC’s Chris Hayes pointed out that Clinton did no better among white women than President Barack Obama did in 2012, McIntosh said the reason is simple: White women sold out the sisterhood because they hate themselves.

“Internalized misogyny is a real thing and it’s something we have to be talking about,” McIntosh bloviated. “The president said it the best during this whole campaign: We as a society react poorly to women seeking positions of power.”

McIntosh continued: “We are uncomfortable about that, and then we seek to justify that uncomfortable feeling because it can’t possibly be because we don’t want to see a woman in that position of power.”

McIntosh said the Democratic party needs to figure out why they lost this key demographic while ignoring the fact that Clinton and the Democratic party did not actively reach out to white women to win their votes.

“As we figure out exactly what happened with turnout, it seems to be white college-educated women [who voted against Clinton],” McIntosh yammered. “We have work to do talking to those women about what happened this year and why, why we would vote against our self-interests.”

Ever since she lost to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton has blamed everyone but herself for her shocking defeat — even though she had the support of the sitting president, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, the media, the billionaire donor class, Hollywood, and Wall Street.

Clinton first blamed FBI Director James Comey. Then Hillary surrogates blamed all white people, saying voting for Trump was a racist “whitelash” against a black president.

Clinton aides later shifted the blame to working-class voters (historically a Democratic stronghold) and now, the Electoral College.

While slamming “internalized misogyny” for her defeat, Clinton and her camp refuse to condemn or even acknowledge the externalized misogyny of some of her supporters.

Maybe Clinton will stop whining once she gets her participation trophy.
