CNN’s Van Jones: Trump election ‘was a WHITELASH against a black president!’

Van Jones is a pathetic sore loser. After spending the past 18 months insisting Donald Trump will “never” be elected president, the CNN shill made a mockery of the U.S. election by calling it a “whitelash” against a black president.

In a bizarre rant, Jones suggested Trump won only because racist whites wanted to rebel against Barack Obama, the nation’s first African-American president.

“This was a whitelash,” an emotional Jones said. “This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president in part.” Oh really, Van?

Rather than blame Hillary Clinton’s corruption and pathological lying for her loss, Jones tried to make the election results all about race, in typical Democratic fashion.

“This was many things,” Jones said. “This was a rebellion against the elites. True. It was a complete reinvention of politics and polls. But it was also something else. We’ve talked about everything but race tonight. This was a whitelash.”

Van Jones forgets that it wasn’t just whites who voted for Donald Trump.

Trump got elected because many minorities embraced the billionaire’s message of change and a return to prosperity and American exceptionalism.

If racism were the key issue in this election, as Jones claims, then why didn’t Latinos and African-American voters turn out in greater numbers for Clinton to ensure against a Trump-inspired “whitelash?”

Could it have something to do with the Clinton’s camp disdain for average Americans, when she dismissed millions of Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables” or called Bernie Sanders supporters basement dwellers?

Trump won despite fighting opponents from all sides: the Democratic party, the Republican party, the media, biased polls, mega-donors, Hollywood and Wall Street elites.

In his acceptance speech, Trump vowed to be a president for everyone, and asked the country to unite after a bitter campaign.

“Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division,” he said. “I will be president for all Americans.

President Trump continued: “Ours was a movement comprised of Americans from all races, religions, backgrounds, and beliefs, who want and expect our government to serve the people. And serve the people it will.”

As he did so many times at his rallies, Trump promised to be the voice of the forgotten man and woman. “The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer,” he said.
