The left has been trying its level best to place blame on guns and gun rights organizations for the horrific mass shooting that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday at an Orlando, Florida gay nightclub.

Omar Mateen has been described as “unhinged and unstable,” has been under an FBI watch list and reportedly claimed allegiance to the Islamic State.

Those liberals walking around with blinders on include actress Felicity Huffman, who had questions that were misdirected to the National Rifle Association. She tweeted:

Huffman was roundly schooled on that one.

And those would include the Fort Hood massacre, the Boston Marathon bombing, the assault on two Chattanooga military facilities, the attack at a Garland, Texas “Draw Muhammad” contest and the San Bernardino massacre, to name a few.

And the snark continued.

Each time a Muslim group or individual is targeted in a horrific crime and the words “Islamic extremism” is mentioned, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, shouts “Islamophobia” and the mead back down.

It’s long past time to call it what it is.
