Petulant Harris-Perry claims ‘culture of fear’ at MSNBC in new stinging Twitter tirade

Melissa Harris-Perry, who “parted ways” with her show on MSNBC this week, took some swings at her former employer in a series of posts on Twitter on Tuesday.

Accusing MSNBC of having a “culture of fear,” Harris-Perry took to social media to air her gripes, apologize to colleagues and thank her former staff. And there were charts — on diversity in gender and ethnicity in the news.

After being preempted by political coverage in recent weeks, Harris-Perry refused to host her show, and effectively told MSNBC it was their fault in a leaked email to friends. MSNBC followed by officially letting the host go as they “parted ways.”

In her Twitter post, she acknowledged that hosting the show was a “privilege.”

But that privilege seemed far from her mind as she tweeted her last moments as an employee.

Her other tweets:

She ended her Twitter explosion with a final goodbye to MSNBC.
