Sweden could be coming to terms with the tenuous situation it created by hastily accepting a massive influx of migrants from the Middle East and Africa.
Escalating incidences of harassment, rape and murder, mostly aimed at women, have plagued European countries that essentially have flung open their borders to migrants. Earlier this week, Sweden was rocked by the murder of a female caretaker at a refugee camp who was stabbed by a 15-year-old male “refugee.”
It’s not certain if the murder was the catalyst for the decision to start deportation proceedings for 60,000 – 80,000 rejected asylum seekers. Interior Minister Anders Ygeman maintained about 45 percent of asylum seekers have already been rejected.

Sweden received one of the highest amounts of migrants per capita in the European Union, Fox News reported. Due to the large numbers, specially chartered flights will need to be used to deport rejected applicants from the country, Ygeman said.
Despite the fact that many refugees will likely try to evade authorities and hide within the country to avoid deportation, critics of open borders see the announcement as a step in the right direction:
@thedailybeast Along with them, kick out government officials that started this crap in the first place

@thedailybeast Correction. Presumably they have determined them not to be refugees at all.

@thedailybeast Good to see at least one country has taken their sanity back.

@_linco69 Indeed the EU human rights commission isn’t going to let that happen @thedailybeast

Without a doubt there will be obstacles. In the meantime, supporters of the decision are skeptically celebrating a small victory.
