Ilhan Omar confronted over GOP plan targeting foreign-born lawmakers

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) appears to be unconcerned by Rep. Nancy Mace’s (R-SC) resolution barring foreign-born politicians.

When asked by Fox News Digital about the resolution that would effectively remove her from Congress, due to Omar being born in Somalia and becoming a citizen in 2000, the lawmaker seemed anything but worried.

Watch:

“Can I ask you about Nancy Mace? She proposed a resolution that would bar foreign-born individuals from serving in Congress. What do you think of that? She mentioned you as an example. What’s your response to that?” the reporter asked.

“Good luck to her,” Omar said flatly.

“You don’t think it’ll go anywhere?”

“No,” the congresswoman responded.
