House Speaker Mike Johnson slammed former Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday for calling for Democrats to pack the Supreme Court.
“It shows you who they are, and for Kamala Harris to say that, it’s very telling,” he told reporters while on Capitol Hill.
“They would blow the system up. … These are institutional arsonists. It’s a dangerous thing. A dangerous gambit. You don’t just blow up the system when you lose,” he added.

Speaking at a webinar this week for the far-left nonprofit known as Emerge America, Harris called for packing the court and more, all to stop Republicans from allegedly “cheating.”
“Look, this is a moment where there are no bad ideas—a ‘no bad idea’ brainstorm is what I’d like to call it,” she began. “And in that no-bad-ideas brainstorm, we talk about what we need to do and think about doing around the Electoral College. We talk about the idea of Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court.”
“We invite a conversation about multi-member districts. We talk about—look, if we win the Senate, which we should and we will, then the Senate Judiciary Committee should have rules that they put in place so when these people come before as nominees to the Supreme Court and lie, that they are held to account and consequence,” she added.
“Not just that somebody goes on cable news and says they lied, but that there are rules in place to actually penalize people for lying to a Senate Judiciary Committee. We agree that it is right to have ethics rules for Supreme Court justices, and let’s put those in place,” she continued.
One has to wonder whether she meant just Republican candidates/nominees or also Democrat candidates/nominees like Karla Marie Campbell.
Nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit by then-President Joe Biden in June of 2024, Campbell reportedly lied about her ties to Workers’ Dignity, a left-wing, antisemitic advocacy group that’s supported “defund the police” policies.
Harris continued by also bringing up adding more states to the Union.
“Let’s talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C. These are the things I think that we’ve got to do,” she said. “We’ve got to neutralize these red states from cheating, including blue states expanding their maps. And all of this, I think, is—look, we gotta fight fire with fire. These folks are playing to win. We gotta play to win too.”

Her remarks also prompted criticism from conservatives on social media.
“Cheating is a massive statement. What evidence do you have of cheating?” one critic wrote on X. “Please don’t say gerrymandering because the democrats are the same there.”
“If you voted for this woman you have serious questions to ask yourself about common sense and what direction you want this country to go in for the future of our children and grandchildren,” another critic tweeted. “She is the example of a DEI hire and has nothing to offer American Citizens.”
Others took to portraying her as a Hitlerian-like fascist who’s “lost the plot”:
