Trump BLASTS ‘fake guy’ NYT reporter for ‘treasonous’ behavior on Air Force One

President Donald Trump has long called the liberal media the “enemy of the people,” but the actions of some journalists toward the conflict with Iran have led the president to suggest they are enemies of America as well.

One thing is a given: the media’s dislike of Trump skews so much of its coverage, as they twist his words and actions to ensure a negative spin, and the war with Iran is no exception. What seems to be different is the president’s patience with this biased coverage.

Standing inches apart aboard Air Force One, New York Times White House correspondent David Sanger asked Trump a question about the conflict, and the president did not appear to appreciate the framing of the inquiry, blasting Sanger for his “treasonous” behavior while telling the hapless journalist he writes what his editors tell him to write.

“You should be ashamed of it. I actually think it’s treason,” Trump told Sanger. “When you write like they are doing well militarily, and they have no navy, no air force, no anti-anything, by the way, we knocked out 85% of their manufacturing for the missiles. We had a total military victory, but the fake news, guys like you write incorrectly, you’re a fake guy, guys like you!”

“I actually think it’s sort of treasonous what you write, but you in the New York Times, and CNN, I’d say, are the worst,” the president continued. “Then I read the New York Times, and they act like they’re [Iran] doing well. And everybody knows that’s why your subscribers are way down. You know, the Times subscribers are way down because they’re seeing that.”

The Times reporter was not the only journalist aboard Air Force One to catch Trump’s wrath. A BBC reporter began to ask a question, when Trump interrupted to ask him who he was with.

After the reporter identified his outlet, Trump unloaded, “BBC, you mean the ones that put AI in my mouth? The ones that added me to saying a statement that they now admit was not true? The ones that put terrible words in my mouth and then had to admit that it was fake?”

“The ones that are being sued now for $5 billion dollars… You with BBC? They’re another FAKE outfit!”

Wow!
