Comey’s claim that he’s still in regular contact with FBI agents raises red flags

Dirty cop James Comey, the former director of the FBI, claimed in an interview with CNN’s Kasie Hunt that he’s still in regular contact with FBI agents and that these agents are “afraid” to speak to him.

Then again, given Comey’s disgraceful exit from the bureau and his second indictment by the Justice Department over an Instagram post showing shells arranged as “86 47,” which went viral online, agents should be concerned about associating with him.

“They are under siege,” Comey told Hunt. “And I think about them a lot. I worry about them a lot. Both those who are still there and those who were thrown out…. there’s a lot of pain in the FBI community right now. But it’s not going to last forever.”

Quite an assessment from a man widely seen as an active player in the failed attempt to overthrow a duly elected president, though only in the compromised American media, which also played a role in targeting President Donald Trump, is Comey seen as a respected voice.

Comey’s casual confession suggests that not only is the deep state well entrenched in the FBI, but that they are playing a waiting game until Trump’s term is over. As for the “pain” he referenced, where was this pain when FBI agents were lying on FISA warrant applications to target Trump? Where was this pain when intimate high-level employees tasked with the FBI’s most important cases were sharing their hatred for Trump during pillow talk? Or when agents treated concerned parents worried about the left-wing indoctrination of their children like domestic terrorists? And let’s not get started on the FBI’s role in regard to Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election, a role that reeks of election interference.

In the end, some critics may be right to suggest institutions like the FBI are too corrupt, too far gone to be rehabilitated. Either way, the big question here is why would any agent at the bureau be in contact with an indicted man that they may be tasked with helping investigate?
