Jim Acosta discovers golden statue of Trump in ‘ground breaking’ report from Florida golf resort

Jim Acosta was roasted after “brave” reporting on his search for the golden statue of President Donald Trump at a Florida golf course.

The former CNN host was mocked on social media after posting a clip of himself in the not-so-dangerous environment, evidently doing some real journalism as he announced, “We found it.”

“The 22 foot golden statue of Donald Trump at his Doral Golf Course in Florida. It’s very shiny. Not exactly life-like. But very North Korea feeling for sure,” Acosta’s caption read.

“I spoke to the sculptor about this, and he told us quite the story about how this came into existence,” Acosta “reported” in his video clip.

“Apparently, they had to slim it down; that was part of the process. They got rid of the turkey neck – that was also part of the process,” he claimed. “But it’s leaving me with some questions here, like, why are we building a new ballroom at the White House? Why are we painting the reflecting pool blue? Why are we building a giant arch when he’s got one of these right here?”

Acosta’s ridiculous take was immediately roasted on X, where one user noted, “This is what failed journalism looks like.”

Many others pointed out how the intrepid investigative reporter also limited who could reply to his post on X.

Acosta seems to still be suffering from his advanced case of Trump Dearngement Syndrome, and his latest pursuit in search of the golden statur proved he may be beyond help.
