Rubio goes viral after wearing Nike tracksuit during China trip

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has yet again become the subject of Internet memes after abandoning his usual attire.

He traded in his business suit for a tracksuit, according to a post from White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who dubbed the outfit the “Nike Tech ‘Venezuela’” on Tuesday.

Rubio is joining President Donald Trump on a trip to China, where discussions about trade and national security are expected to take place. But for X users, Rubio’s outfit was the headline news.

Also joining Trump’s trip to China is Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who was reportedly called by the president after initial reports indicated that Huang had not been invited. This was confirmed in a social media post made by the president himself.
