‘Credit where credit is due’: Libs can’t help but to praise Trump over DC change

President Donald Trump’s efforts to beautify Washington, D.C., have earned him rare praise from the left.

Reporter Martin Austermuhle posted a photo on X showing a fountain at the Meridian Hill/Malcolm X Park actually flowing with water, something that hasn’t been seen in “years.” He notes that the “[National Park Service] started work on the long-dry fountain late last year, as part of a broader project to refurbish the park.”

This caught the attention of ActBlue communications strategist Carter Christensen.

“Cannot believe it’s taken this long, but this truly makes me so incredibly happy to see,” he wrote, inadvertently praising the president.

“Best thing this administration has done, and it’s not even close,” said Tré Easton, vice president of liberal think tank, Searchlight Institute.

“Can unequivocally say: all the fountains in the nation’s capital should work, and I’m glad the Trump people got this done,” wrote Democrat strategist Doug Landry.

“Credit where credit is due. The Trump administration is finally fixing fountains around Washington, DC that have been out of order for many years,” said Substack author Anthony LaMesa.

This did not escape the notice of X users:
