A high school coach and teacher in Auburn, Washington, is still on the job despite video showing him “licking” or “simulating” licking a student’s foot at a team event, according to radio host Jason Rantz.
The unidentified teacher was removed as the head coach of the boys soccer team, allegedly after video of him licking “or simulating the licking of” the foot of a “male student athlete” came to light in March, according to talk radio station Seattle Red. The incident reportedly took place at a team dinner held during the 2025 season.
“On March 4, 2026, we were alerted to a video that showed an interaction between a coach and students at a team function during the 2025 soccer season,” the Auburn School District told Seattle Red in a statement.

“The coach was placed on leave the following day. The district made a referral to the Office of Professional Practices with OSPI on March 18,” the school district’s statement continued. “The determination was made after the HR investigation that he will not be returned as a coach, but he is currently under contract as a certificated employee. Since this is a personnel matter, we will not be providing any additional information.”
After being removed as coach, the unidentified employee was allowed to continue teaching math despite additional reports of outbursts and disruptions in the classroom, Seattle Red reported.
“I found some disturbing issues being raised. At least one eyewitness, a former student, complained that about three years ago, the teacher made repeated and crude remarks during his math class about a family member whom he allegedly referred to in a very demeaning way for women, expressing some sort of anger over a personal situation in terms again that were plainly inappropriate at a school,” Rantz said during his Friday show.
The Auburn School District did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
