Hegseth nixes probe into military flyover of Kid Rock’s house: ‘Carry on, patriots.’

The military flyover of Kid Rock’s Tennessee estate has reached its conclusion, thanks to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

Yesterday, BizPac Review reported on the Army probe of those involved in hovering a helicopter over Rock’s property during a training run. A video of the moment was posted to social media by the artist himself, who can be seen saluting the pilots aboard the aircraft.

The moment got plenty of attention, including from Army brass who promptly launched a probe into the event

“The Army is aware of a video circulating online that appears to show AH‑64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence in the Nashville area,” read a statement from Army spokesperson Maj. Montrell Russell, as reported by Politico. “Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations.”

“The Army has confirmed that, on March 28, two Apache helicopters from the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Campbell conducted a flight in the Nashville area that has attracted public and media attention,” Russell told Fox News Digital in a separate statement. “This incident is now under an Army Regulation 15-6 administrative investigation. The personnel involved have been suspended from flight duties while the Army reviews the circumstances surrounding the mission, including compliance with relevant FAA regulations, aviation safety protocol and approval requirements.”

“Since the investigation is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to discuss specific findings at this time. The Army takes any allegations of unauthorized or unsafe flight operations very seriously and is committed to enforcing standards and holding personnel accountable.”

Well, Hegseth wasn’t about to have that. On Tuesday evening, he shared Rock’s video along with the news that he had lifted the suspension.

Look:

“Thank you, [Kid Rock.] [U.S. Army] pilots suspension LIFTED. No punishment. No investigation. Carry on, patriots,” he wrote in his caption.

Predictably, leftists are losing their minds:
