Newsom’s wife gives GOP the perfect attack ad for 2028

California Governor Gavin Newsom is more than likely gearing up to run in 2028, but Republicans already have the perfect attack ad, courtesy of his own wife.

The Democrat has been accused of having lofty political aspirations as he seemingly ignores the plight of Californians to do battle with President Donald Trump. It is believed that he is getting ready to launch a presidential bid, but a clip of his own wife, Jennifer Newsom, from several years ago may prove to be his toughest opponent.

Speaking to former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, she explained why the family took their children on a “red state” tour and the reasons should be nothing short of disqualifying.

“You took your four kids on this trip, you’re here in Alabama now, why was it important to you to take them on this trip to red states and learn about the history in our country?” Psaki asked.

“Mmm. That’s a great question. Well, I don’t think, or I know for a fact that we don’t get all of this history in our schools. And it’s part of enlivening them, building their curiosity, expanding their hearts, their empathy so that they themselves can be the change they wish to see in the world and recognize that we have work to do,” she responded. “And that we have healing to do, so that they can be, you know, use their voices to stand up and speak out when they see pain and suffering and bullying and racism and misogyny around them.”

“You want them to see it, so they know,” Psaki offered.

“I do,” she confirmed. “I’m a truth-seeker. They need to know the truth.”
