Man arrested for posing as a pastor, raping woman reportedly in US illegally

Marco Antonio Ocampos Zamora was arrested and charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.

Local reports indicate Ocampos Zamora was pretending to be a pastor online when he met his victim. They met up in Merrifield, Virginia, for what was supposed to be a counseling session, but the woman claims he sexually assaulted her instead. Authorities believe he may have had other victims and are encouraging anyone else who may have been targeted to come forward with information.

To add insult to injury, the man is also allegedly an illegal alien, according to an X user citing “sources inside the Fairfax County Police.”

Keep in mind, Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) has significantly limited state-level cooperation with federal immigration authorities since taking office in January 2026.

Ocampos Zamora has been charged with abduction with intent and object sexual penetration and is currently being held without bond.
