Natasha Owens, a Christian/country music artist who has written songs taking on hot-button political issues, has done it again.
Her latest release is titled “The Boss,” and is written about Bruce Springsteen and his transformation into a leftist political mouthpiece. Her anthem is for all the “heartbroken” fans who revered “The Boss” as a “voice of Americans for generations,” only to see him parrot “anti-American messaging.”
Watch:
“I danced to Rosalita, I shouted out Thunder Road. I used to believe you sang for me, in those glory days of old,” the lyrics read. “Where is your song for justice? Where is your song for the working man? I was born in the USA and you spit on my promised land. You preach from your mansions, but you don’t know the cost. I thank God you’re not the boss.”
“What about Laken Riley? Is Charlie too hard to sing? What about when you took your shot at the one you call our king?” the song continues, bashing the leftist priorities of the artist. “I still believe in freedom, cuz I’ve got a higher hope. I’ll keep singing for America, even if you won’t.”
“Where is your song of compassion? Where is your song for the hurting man? I was born in the USA and I used to be a loyal fan. You preach from your mansion, and you’ve lost that human touch. I thank God you’re not, the boss,” it concludes.

Like so many others, I was a huge fan of his. Saw him in concert a few times. Now I wouldn’t go see him if tickets were free. Great job Natasha!
