Trump spits fire at mutinous Massey, and his new wife too

President Donald Trump took aim at Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) claiming the lawmaker’s new wife may have changed him.

Trump levied the accusation on Monday afternoon on Truth Social, promoting Massie’s opponent Ed Gallrein.

Look:

People are saying that Thomas Massie became a Liberal because his new wife, blessed be their marriage, is supposedly a Radical Left “flamethrower.” This new union all went so fast that maybe he didn’t know what he was getting into but, nevertheless, he is an absolutely terrible…

“People are saying that Thomas Massie became a Liberal because his new wife, blessed be their marriage, is supposedly a Radical Left ‘flamethrower.’ This new union all went so fast that maybe he didn’t know what he was getting into but, nevertheless, he is an absolutely terrible and unreliable ‘Republican’ — Perhaps a RINO, or maybe even worse!” the president wrote. “Ed Gallrein, a Farmer and War Hero, is running against Massie. He is a HIGH QUALITY individual, and there is no Candidate for Congress that could be better. He is running because he realizes Thomas Massie has been totally disloyal to the President of the United States, and the Republican Party. He never votes for us, he always goes with the Democrats. Thomas Massie is a Complete and Total Disaster, we must make sure he loses, BIG!”

X users had mixed reactions to Trump’s message:

This is a joke? Don’t go after people wife’s. This is a coward move.

He didn’t get elected to be loyal to Trump or the Republican Party. He was elected to be loyal to his constituents

Massie is a punk…

Thomas Massie is a representative. He represents his district. Not the president. Duh.

“He always goes with the Democrats,” while somehow managing to vote 91% of the time with Republicans. This is some “lowering drug prices by 600%” math.

Not helpful. It frustrates me to no end when he acts like this.

Imagine bashing someone who ACTUALLY legislates conservatively. He needs Massie, not another yes man.

Massie has long been a RINO, perhaps he should be honest and switches to the Democrat Party where he truly belongs

We don’t want “Republicans” who don’t support our agenda.

@RepThomasMassie is the only reason why we have the Epstein Files.

The ones which your administration said didn’t exist.
