A Minnesota comedy club has cancelled six sold-out shows for comedian Ben Bankas after he sparked outrage for joking about the death of Renee Good, the militant lesbian shot by an ICE officer earlier this month.

Laugh Camp Comedy Club, which is located in downtown St. Paul, announced that it was dropping Bankas like a hot potato over his mocking of Good, who made the fatal mistake of trying run over the officer with an SUV while obstructing the enforcement of federal immigration law.

“Honestly, I don’t see any way we can safely present this show in the current climate,” club owner Bill Collins told the Star-Tribune. “I’m not sure any amount of security or preplanning would mitigate the liability I’d face if something happened.”

In a video posted to social media, Bankas said. “Her last name was Good. That’s what I said after they shot her in the face,” he also called her retarded and mocked her lesbian “wife” who egged her on.

“That’s what you don’t want when you’re dealing with the police, your lesbian wife says drive, baby drive,” he said

In another video shared to X, the Canadian comic wrote “I call her the ICE LADY..,”

“We are obligated to place the highest priority on the safety of our guests, staff and talent and we are left with no option but to cancel,” the club said in a statement.

The Canadian comic posted a video to Instagram in which he broke the news that his Minnesota shows were called off.

“I just found out that my shows were canceled in Minnesota,” Bankas said during another performance, eliciting boos from the audience.

“Yeah. They were supposed to be next Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We sold out six shows in Minnesota and they canceled it because, honestly, I don’t know why,” he continued.

“Well, yeah, I mean f**k them obviously,” he said, drawing laughs as he mocked the club’s cowardly surrender.

Bowing to the demands of the leftist mob is now common and proof that such bullying works, but in the case of the cancelled Bankas shows the club was likely worried about the prospect of violence if they had allowed him to appear as scheduled. Patrons would almost certainly have been menaced by left-wing miscreants in the streets, and the club itself would likely have been vandalized, or even burned down.
