Russell Brand pleads with Katy Perry: ‘Don’t put me in a category with that globalist stooge!’

Actor and podcaster Russell Brand has a pointed message for his ex-wife, popstar Katy Perry.

Perry’s new relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has received a lot of mockery, but the most hilarious commentary came from her own ex-husband. Speaking at a Turning Points USA event in Phoenix, Brand shared his thoughts on the blooming romance between Perry and Trudeau, asking her not to put the two men “in the same category.”

Watch:

“My ex-wife’s parents are here. They’re Christians and I love them,” Brand pointed out. “I gotta say though, look, Katy Perry, I was married to her, I love her still and I’m glad her mum’s in the room to hear me say this.”

“But, look, I was okay with Orlando Bloom. But Justin Trudeau?!” he shouted. “Come on, man! Don’t put me in a category with that guy! That globalist stooge!”

X users reacted to Brand’s plea:

As BizPac Review previously reported, Trudeau and Perry’s relationship has been the subject of much gossip, though some were convinced that it was merely a publicity stunt at first. While the pair appeared to be knee deep in the puppy love stage, others suggested that popularity was at the forefront of the relationship.
