Criminals weren’t alone in benefitting from soft leftist policies, as Joe Rogan called out agendas “letting monsters live in your neighborhood.”

Much attention is given to the revolving door of recidivism as radical prosecutors repeatedly opt for leniency over litigation while Democrat-led legislatures expand opportunities for criminality. On Tuesday’s episode of his podcast, Rogan turned attention to the less frequently addressed issue of wildlife control as San Francisco-area mountain lions have been shown to survive on “eating people’s pets.”
Joined on “The Joe Rogan Experience” by hunters Adam Greentree and Cameron Hanes, the host had detailed how the Japanese military had been employed to cull the bear population since the number of hunters had decreased by attrition as he transitioned to the misaligned efforts of so-called environmentalists.
“They’re doing nothing to curb the population. And this is the thing, like people go, ‘Oh, it’s okay. Let nature do its thing.’ No, it doesn’t do its thing. It kills your dog, okay?” contended Rogan. “One of the things they found out in San Francisco, in the Bay Area, was that when they do shoot these mountain lions, they’ve done an analysis on their diet. It’s 50% dogs and cats. 50% of their diet is eating people’s pets.”
While debate had raged leading up to the 2024 presidential election as to whether or not Haitian’s living in Ohio had been threatening the local population of pets and wildlife, making “Save the cats!” a chant on then-former President Donald Trump’s campaign trail, there remained no doubt about the danger posed by mountain lions.
“So, they’re hunting people’s pets. That means you are, if you’re a dog lover, you’re allowing a monster to eat your dog because you think that’s the right thing to do and to be kind with nature. No, you have to hunt them,” he said. “You have to get them the f*ck away from you and keep a healthy population of them, because if you don’t do that, it comes back to bite you in the d*ck.”
Among anecdotes relayed on the podcast, Rogan had explained how the preserved mountain lion on display in the lobby of his facility had been killed while chowing down on a dairy cow, expressing, “It’s like a werewolf’s loose in your town.”
Regarding a story from Hanes about being chased by a mountain lion while out on a run in California, the host remarked, “That is the consequences of letting monsters live in your neighborhood.”
“That’s the difference between people that really understand what we’re talking about and people that are looking at this from this knee-jerk love and compassion for nature perspective,” he went on.
To further support his point, Rogan compared deer populations in California vs. Texas and said they’re more common in the latter state, “You know why? Because there’s no mountain lions, and you can shoot them. California has a mountain lion problem.”
“I love animals, but I am on team ‘people,’” he declared, having suggested trophy hunting should be called “monster control.”
