Kyle Rittenhouse returns to public eye with gun-slinging wedding photo

Kyle Rittenhouse is “back to stay” on social media, where he posted a defiant message alongside a photo of himself and his new bride.

The now-22-year-old returned to social media after deleting his accounts on X and Facebook. Rittenhouse, who was acquitted of murder charges stemming from the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020 in Wisconsin, showed off his wife and “best friend” Bella in gun-toting photos on X Wednesday.

“I’m back on social media, I’m back in the fight, and i’m here to stay,” he wrote in his post.

“For a quick update, 6 months ago I made the best decision of my life and married my best friend. @BellRittenhouse, I couldn’t be happier. I love you, beautiful,” Rittenhouse added before teasing, “More big announcements coming soon…”

In comments on the post, Rittenhouse thanked X users for their messages and compliments on his wife, telling one, “Definitely punching above my weight.”

“Kyle’s wife is Bella Nelson Rittenhouse, a 22-year-old native of Defuniak Springs, Florida. In wedding photos posted to social media, Bella is shown in her wedding dress holding an AR-style rifle with customized pink rear and front sights,” The Daily Beast noted.

“The pair appears to have gotten married in June. Bella Rittenhouse’s Instagram account has one post, dated June 8, 2025, which shows the couple’s wedding photos. After their wedding day, Kyle and Bella attended the memorial service for Charlie Kirk in September,” the outlet added.

In a follow-up post, Rittenhouse shared details of his decision to exit social media and what drove him to return, declaring he is “coming back in a big way.”

“I stepped out of the public eye back in January — I needed peace, a fresh start, somewhere far from the constant noise and chaos. That decision changed my life… I met & married my best friend, and found more peace and purpose than I ever thought possible,” he wrote.

“Then came the unthinkable — the brutal assassination of my friend Charlie Kirk. Watching his life cut short for standing up publicly for what he believed was right shook me to my core,” he added of the Turning Point USA founder who was murdered in September.
