‘We love this!’ Gov Newsom Office proves it’s learned NOTHING with new JD Vance meme

The folks behind Gavin Newsom’s social media account need a lesson in reading the room.

X users have noticed a major, snarky change on the social media accounts representing California Governor Newsom as he seemingly gears up for a presidential run.  In an apparent attempt to mock President Trump, the folks behind the Governor Newsom Press Office have been attempting to imitate 47’s blunt, bombastic style with sarcasm, insults, and really weak memes.

The problem for Newsom, obviously, is that there’s only one Donald Trump and his signature style resonates with millions because it’s authentic … a trait that is more glaringly lacking in the California governor by the day.

So here we are, with yet another X post foul, when Newsom’s office launched a meme seemingly meant to mock Vice President J.D. Vance, as an interview with the V.P. and Fox News’ Sean Hannity simultaneously played on the airwaves.

Using a now well-known AI image of a pudgy Vance, an image, mind you, that’s been fully embraced by the man himself, Newsom Office dropped the ill-fated post, much to the delight of “MAGA.”

Trump and Vance supporters didn’t waste much time wondering why the account would post something that would so obviously backfire, but got in on the action instead:

As previously mentioned, Vance has posted these memes of himself and even dressed as it for Halloween, as ‘Gator Gar’ reminded:
