Actor and comedian Rob Schneider defended free speech and vowed to sue U.C. Berkeley after headlining a recent Turning Point USA event.
The Charlie Kirk-inspired event triggered hundreds of crazed “anti-fascist” protesters who violently attempted to intimidate speakers and attendees.
I intend to SUE the UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA at BERKELEY for their BLATANT disregard for OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES! https://t.co/iKnpdI4BCM

“These people, preventing people from talking and preventing people from getting in, these were the ‘anti-fascists,’” said Schneider on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday.

“The Turning Point USA students from Berkeley wanting to have peaceful discourse, peaceful debate, conversations, talking about how much they love God, family and country… these people were called the fascists,” he added.
“Who are the real fascists there?”
Schneider’s been a longtime peaceful warrior for free speech and made a call to love “people who are your enemy,” after the Berkeley brawls.
And Schneider walks the walk, according to a story he told Berkeley students about Trump-hating leftist Robert DeNiro.
“De Niro turns around, and he’s like, ‘Schneider, how could you support that schmuck?’” he recalled on stage, according to Fox News.
“I looked right at him and said, ‘I love you. I love you.’”
Despite the violence, Schneider called to “continue the discourse.”

As you should. @UCBerkeley never protected their Jewish students.
And now proving that the only people they protect are terrorist supporters and antifa.— Maccabee Mamma (@MitzvahMaya) November 13, 2025
Rob, it is literally the only thing they comprehend. When you reach deep into their pockets and take every last penny. Only then will they finally do the right thing. Swing for the fences my friend.

The Berkeley melee was so out of hand, that it sparked a full investigation by the DOJ:
