Maria Salazar’s Letter Is a Step Towards Defending America-First Agenda

Representative Maria Salazar (R-FL) wrote to Secretary of State Marco Rubio on November 4 about US embassy officials in Guatemala. By threatening judges, these US officials are undermining President Donald Trump’s agenda. The Biden holdovers Salazar referred to have been able to betray Trump because the State Department (DOS) has been infiltrated by Cuban agents working with the Sóles Cartel.

Salazar insisted Rubio “immediately” remove Ambassador Tobin Bradley and Deputy Chief of Mission Patrick Ventrell. Trump must also remove the cartel’s DOS officials who have protected Bradley and Ventrell. Failure to remove these and other traitors will negate Trump’s many successes and assure we have another regime like Biden’s after Trump leaves office.

Bradley and Ventrell were both part of Todd Robinson’s team when he headed DOS’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Bureau (INL). As ambassador to Guatemala (2014–2017), Robinson helped send 17 innocent people to jail in 2015 so Joe Biden could get a medical contract for a client. Biden appointed Robinson to head INL in April 2021, and the Senate confirmed him in September 2021.

INL participated in the 2023 electoral fraud that made Bernardo Arévalo president of Guatemala. INL personnel met with electoral authority officials before the election, despite elections being outside INL’s jurisdiction.

INL policies have, for at least a decade, consistently helped narcotrafficking, which exploded under Robinson. He told Representative Keith Self (R-TX) in a hearing that Mexico was not a failed state and that INL was countering the cartels there.

Robinson likely arranged for Ventrell and Bradley to work in Guatemala as part of the electoral fraud and to keep Guatemala open for the flow of narcotics. Salazar stated that Ventrell “called at least three judges” and threatened them to vote as he wanted in the election for Supreme Court president. Ventrell was doing the Soles Cartel’s bidding.

The Supreme Court president influences the elections for the Constitutional Court, the electoral authority magistrates, and the attorney general. Salazar noted that all three occur in 2026, making it “critical for Guatemala’s future as a conservative country.” If Bradley and Ventrell remain, they will help turn Guatemala into an overt socialist part of the Soles Cartel.

Trump must replace Bradley and Ventrell with political appointees to prevent DOS traitors from maneuvering to have them replaced by deep-state actors.

The Soles Cartel aligns with the anti-US Democrat agenda and consists of the Nicolás Maduro regime, China, Cuba, Iran, and Russia. With Cuban intelligence having penetrated our intelligence community and DOS, the cartel has agents affecting US policy. This is why DOS supports US enemies, including in Guatemala, and why China is so influential in the Western Hemisphere.

To protect the traitors within our government, the cartel and its allies will do anything and everything to occupy and distract Trump. Among the examples are the violence against Tesla dealerships and ICE agents, Putin’s continuation of the Ukraine War with China’s assistance, and the government shutdown.

Salazar identified a string that, if pulled on, will unravel the ball of treason against us. Of the two principal penetrated agencies, the intelligence community is the most difficult to expose because of its secrecy. DOS has no excuse to hide from investigators, making it the place to start.

DOS personnel commit crimes worldwide, but under Cuban influence, they are especially aggressive in Latin America. Guatemalan resistance forced them to be more aggressive than usual, making DOS crimes more obvious and easier to expose than in other places.

Salazar’s letter touches on an example. Guatemala’s social media was abuzz when Ventrell was doing the cartel’s bidding with his blatant interference in its judiciary.

The congressional record already contains sufficient information about DOS crimes regarding Guatemala to justify full investigations. No follow-up occurred because Biden was president, Democrats controlled the Senate, and former House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) shirked his duties.

Current HFAC Chairman Brian Mast (R-FL) and his Senate counterpart James Risch (R-ID) should follow Salazar’s lead and launch investigations. This would bring forth other countries and DOS officials, current and former, and those of other departments who have previously had no forum in which to speak out.

Credible hearings would cascade into an unstoppable avalanche of scandal. Educating the public about the traitors within our government and their crimes would increase support for Trump to remove them. Doing so would set back the totalitarian agenda for generations.
