A Squad member was left bristling over the knock on Democrats’ “diversity is our strength” maxim after a Texas lawmaker called out the latest “humiliation” in the New York mayoral race.

The outcome of the race to occupy Gracie Mansion remains to be decided, but for weeks it has appeared that the State Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (D), the symbolic standard bearer for Islamism and socialism in Gotham, remains favored to plant his flag at City Hall.

On the eve of Election Day, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D), Mamdani’s comrade in pushing redistribution of wealth, took up arms to defend the Uganda-born, silver spoon subversive after Texas Rep. Brandon Gill (R) challenged a final campaign push that seemingly put a cherry on top of the terrorist-sympathizing sundae about to be served to the five boroughs.

“Just a couple of decades after 9/11, the leading candidate for NYC mayor is campaigning in Arabic. The humiliation is the point,” wrote Gill in response to Mamdani’s latest pandering ad. In response, Ocasio-Cortez lashed out, “Over 100 languages are spoken in our great city, and it’s actually a pretty amazing part of being an American. If you are humiliated by America and the diversity that powers our nation’s Nobel Prizes, Olympic Gold Medals, and breakthrough innovations and culture, that’s on you.”

The pitch from the congresswoman, who herself has been slammed for the charade of portraying herself as a “Bronx girl” after being raised in the affluent suburbs of Westchester County, is reminiscent of the argument from leftist filmmaker Michael Moore.

While many Democrats have voiced their concerns over mass deportations of illegal aliens, essentially wondering who would pick the crops, the Mamdani-endorsing Moore contended that immigration enforcement operations would impede the discovery of “the cure for cancer” or stop an asteroid from hitting the planet.

Taking the opposite position where it concerned the candidate supported by the United Arab Emirates designated terrorist organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), who embraced the 1993 World Trade Center bombing unindicted co-conspirator imam Siraj Wahhaj, Dinesh D’Souza — conservative filmmaker and Gill’s father-in-law — reacted to projections of a Mamdani victory by stating, “We didn’t see 9/11 coming and when we did it was too late. We’ve seen this guy coming for a while. The result will be no less catastrophic.”

Leading up to Election Day, projections showed that Mamdani was favored among foreign-born voters with 62% support compared to his leading rivals, disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (I) and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa (R).

Meanwhile, as Gill was among the few members of Congress endeavoring to curb legal immigration to better allow for assimilation, reactions to Ocasio-Cortez’s push for diversity included reminders that some views don’t gel with the freedoms of the United States.

Zohran Mamdani insults victims of 9/11 just like AOC, Ilhan Omar, and other Democrats do.

He continues to make it clear that he doesn’t want to assimilate into the US, he wants to change it into his own radical vision.

Mamdani is an insult to all New Yorkers and real Americans.
