America is deeply divided politically, and the signs are everywhere.
A recent Quinnipiac University Poll found that 53% of Americans believe democracy is not currently working, while 41% think we’re on track.
Who makes up most of the naysayers? Democrats, of course.
A whopping 74% of polled Democrats said that “the system of democracy in the United States is not working,” compared to only 22% of Republicans who agreed.
Interestingly, the same percentage of Republicans, 74%, conversely, believe that democracy in the U.S. is going just fine.
Host of the Crucible, Andrew Wilson, highlighted the poll on X and received plenty of thoughtful commentary.
To have a republic or democracy that works correctly you need a moral Godly people. The people have rejected God. It doesn’t work any other way.

Well, I mean, it isn’t because it doesn’t. That’s why our founders were smart enough to know that Democracy is a sham and gave us a Constitutional Republic, instead.
Crazy how well learned guys were 250 years go compared the current crop of young people….

You can’t have a democracy when the Left has already made it clear it’s willing to cheat & even kill to win.
You can’t have a democracy when the Left explicitly relies on radicalization to gain an unfair advantage.
This is a war behind the facade of democracy.

The imploding Democrat Party is becoming increasingly Godless and full of those who scream the loudest about losing a “democracy.” The rhetoric from Democratic leaders and their media lapdogs has, with little doubt, contributed to the increasing left-wing violence that most recently ended the life of unapologetically Christian Charlie Kirk and ICE detainees.
The percentage of Americans who believe political violence is a “very serious problem” rose sharply from 54% in June to 71%, the Quinnipiac poll showed, while 79% believe America is in a “state of crisis.”
A majority of Americans, 53%, also say they are currently “pessimistic about free speech.”
But why are they down on free speech now?
The GOP-led House Judiciary just found that Google and YouTube capitulated to the Biden administration’s demands of censorship of opposing views.

Now, that doesn’t seem very democratic.
