Joy Reid ‘promises’ JD Vance is a product of affirmative action, and HIS reaction is TOO GOOD

Vice President J.D. Vance is quickly becoming the King of Memes and brutal comebacks, and his wittiness just snagged another victim.

As many know, Vance grew up poor in rural Appalachia and was raised by his grandmother. His rise to the vice presidency is an American success story for the ages. Unless your Joy Ried.

While discussing the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Reid whipped out her ever-ready race card to explain the benefits of affirmative action, which she touted as a big reason for her success.

“Right-wingers, you have the ability to know who I am when I don’t know who most of y’all are, but you know me because affirmative action brought me your way,” Reid said. “Tell the Lord, ‘Thank you.’ Be grateful for all that God has given you. God knows what God is doing. She a smart, smart lady.”

But, before bragging on herself, Reid suggested that Vance was a product of affirmative action.

“White people who are essentially mediocre in scale compared to a Black person,” she said, before floating her theory, “maybe the way that JD Vance got into Yale is because they were tired of just letting in White men from New York, from all the elite schools, and they wanted an Appalachian White. That’s how that man got into Yale, I promise you.”

Vance, whose backstory needs no defending, responded on X in one of the most hilarious ways possible.

The VP’s snarky post quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of “likes” and a slew of witty commentary.
