While thousands gathered to mourn Charlie Kirk in an hours-long memorial service, CNN saw fit to give Rep. Jasmine Crockett a platform to bash the slain conservative icon.

Crockett’s insulting rant about the Turning Point USA co-founder, who was assassinated on Sept. 10, was condemned by many who called out CNN, including Fox News host Greg Gutfeld.

“CNN counter programming Charlie Kirk’s memorial with Jazmin Crockett,” he wrote in a social media post Sunday, mocking the Texas Democrat.

“If they were around to cover MLK’s funeral, would they have done a segment with a Grand Dragon?” asked the host of “Gutfeld!” referring to a high-ranking leader in the Ku Klux Klan.

“It is unfortunate that more of my colleagues, even on my side of the aisle, could not see the amount of harm that this man was attempting to inflict upon our communities,” Crockett spouted on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.

She also complained that only “two caucasians” voted against a House resolution to honor Kirk, as 215 Republicans and 95 Democrats helped pass the measure that praised Kirk’s “life and legacy” while condemning political violence.

Crockett called out her Democrat colleagues, though 58 voted against the resolution and 38 voted “present.”

“One of the things that I want to point out that’s not been laid out that honestly hurt my heart is when I saw the no votes — there were only two caucasians,” she whined Sunday. “For the most part, the only people that voted no were people of color.”

“The rhetoric that Charlie Kirk continuously put out there was rhetoric that specifically targeted people of color,” she claimed. “It is unfortunate that even our colleagues could not see how harmful his rhetoric was — specifically to us!”

Crockett’s claims and hateful rhetoric were a stark contrast against the backdrop of a moving memorial service in a packed State Farm Stadium in Arizona. Gutfeld’s X post calling out CNN was met with agreement from many social media users.

I would love to know the ratings numbers… I counted just the X, YouTube, and Rumble live streams showing the memorial and just the ones I saw 1/2 an hour after the memorial proper started were 2M+.

I’m guessing CNN had less than 100k.
