President Donald Trump weighed in on the “fantastic” American Eagle ad campaign featuring Sydney Sweeney that has sent the left into a meltdown.
The president expressed his love of the jeans advertising campaign on Sunday after learning Sweeney is a registered Republican, telling reporters that he is now a fan.
“She’s a registered Republican?” Trump asked to clarify a reporter’s question about the “White Lotus” and “Euphoria” star.
“Oh, now I love her ad,” he quipped.

“You’d be surprised at how many people are Republicans,” the president added on the tarmac as he headed back to Washington, D.C., from Bedminster, N.J.
“That’s what I wouldn’t have known, but I’m glad you told me that,” he said. “If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.”

The New York Post reported that Sweeney “has been registered with the Republican Party of Florida in Monroe County since June 2024,” according to public voter records.

Leftists attacked the actress and American Eagle for the “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” campaign, claiming the ads are racist and even push “Nazi propaganda.”
“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color,” Sweeney says in one of the videos. “My jeans are blue.”
Social media users weighed in on Sweeney’s political affiliation, with many expressing that they were not surprised by the revelation.
It says a lot about the Left that after attempting to cancel Sydney Sweeney, and failing, they then scoured government databases for her voting history.
