Following in the footsteps of France, the United Kingdom’s plans regarding a utopian solution in the Middle East sounded to many like how the U.K. “has surrendered its society to Islamists at home.”
In London, under Mayor Sadiq Khan, as with elsewhere throughout the British Isles, spikes in violent crime have been widely attributed to the prominence of so-called “no-go zones” — cultural enclaves that prove a lack of interest in assimilation to adopted lands.
Rather than recognize the folly, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Tuesday the continued effort for a doomed two-state solution involving Israel and the conditions under which his country would recognize a “sovereign Palestinian state” at the United Nations General Assembly in September.
After acknowledging the atrocities of the Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack committed by Hamas, Starmer furthered calls for increased humanitarian aid in Gaza before noting the recognition would occur, “unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza, agree to a ceasefire and commit to a long-term, sustainable peace, reviving the prospect of a two-state solution.”
“And this includes allowing the U.N. to restart the supply of aid, and making clear there will be no annexations in the West Bank,” he added.

Starmer’s announcement followed a similar decision out of France last week, where French President Emmanuel Macron considered it “essential to build the State of Palestine.”
Responding to Starmer’s statement, and in light of Macron’s, the Israeli Foreign Ministry unequivocally said, “Israel rejects the statement by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. The shift in the British government’s position at this time, following the French move and internal political pressures, constitutes a reward for Hamas and harms efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and a framework for the release of hostages.”

Likewise, a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu read, “Starmer rewards Hamas’s monstrous terrorism & punishes its victims. A jihadist state on Israel’s border TODAY will threaten Britain TOMORROW. Appeasement towards jihadist terrorists always fails. It will fail you, too. It will not happen.”
President Donald Trump had his own comments to add as he returned to the United States following a successful trade deal, as well as a meeting with Starmer in Scotland.
Aboard Air Force One, the chief executive said of the current talks attempting to advance a two-state solution, “If you do that, you really are rewarding Hamas — and I’m not about to do that.”

Following Macron’s decision, seen by many as ostensibly siding against Israel in the Middle East, Trump stated bluntly, “Here’s the good news: what he says doesn’t matter. His statement doesn’t carry any weight.”
Others were equally critical of Starmer, especially those who’ve witnessed or experienced the impact that Islamists have had throughout the U.K. As one social media user offered, suggesting a clarification of the prime minister’s position, “What @Keir_Starmer means is a cease-fire UNDER HAMAS TERMS. Israel’s surrender to Hamas. Just like the UK has surrendered its society to Islamists at home.”

I think Starmer has already concluded that the UK is lost to Islam. He’s just going for the best deal he can get to stay in power. Same for the king. He will convert to Islam if he doesn’t die from cancer first.
