Just like that, Democrat Party protesters have taken up a new cause – and a new flag.
After street protests waving Ukrainian, then Palestinian, and most recently, Mexican flags, the latest outpouring on the streets took up the flag of Iran.
However, not the flag that Iranian people would themselves be waving, but that of the repressive and barbaric Islamic Republic. Anti-war demonstrators gathered in New York City’s Times Square and elsewhere, chanting “Hands off Iran,” in response to President Donald Trump’s decision to strike the Middle Eastern nation’s key nuclear facilities.

Keen eyes on social media pointed out how the protesters have just moved on to the next “current thing” in taking up another country’s flag.

It was clear to observers that the left dutifully comes out to wave any flag but an American one, and Iran is the latest on the conveyor belt of causes. Even if the Islamic nation’s flag is not the one its own people would be marching for.
