Steven Cheung goes nuclear on ‘piece of sh*t’ CNN guest over Trump weight loss conspiracy theory

A “blithering” CNN guest who peddled a conspiracy theory about President Donald Trump’s weight was blasted by the White House communications chief.

The Daily Beast’s Joanna Coles claimed there was “lots of suspicion” about the president’s attire at the funeral for Pope Francis, pointing to Trump’s weight loss during her appearance on CNN’s “Inside Politics” on Sunday.

Her comments earned the wrath of White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung, who minced no words in destroying Coles for her “debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“CNN had this blithering idiot on @InsidePolitics from The Daily Beast named @JoannaColes making unsubstantiated claims about President Trump’s health,” Cheung posted on X.  “Joanna is a piece of sh-t, clearly suffering from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome rotting her pea-sized brain.”

Coles, who serves as chief content officer for The Daily Beast, seemed to suggest that Trump may have taken the weight-loss drug Ozempic in part of her commentary.

“I was so fascinated by the whole sort of playing out of the Pope’s funeral, I guess, as opposed to a memorial. Donald Trump in a blue suit, when we know he has a black suit because he was wearing a black suit the last time you met the Pope, so why wasn’t he wearing it this time?” she said as she fanned the flames on the faux controversy about Trump’s attire.

“Lots of suspicion because he’s lost a lot of weight. Who knows how he’s lost weight?” Coles continued.

“We know that Robert Kennedy Jr., his health minister, doesn’t approve of people taking Ozempic because he thinks it shows a lack of moral power. So, who knows how Trump has lost weight? But I found the suit color very interesting. And for someone like me, who is a boss, is a huge believer in getting people together as opposed to doing things remotely,” she said.
