Former First Lady Michelle Obama raised eyebrows with her latest comments about her husband and their bedtime preferences.
Amid nagging rumors about former President Barack Obama’s marital relationship with Michelle, she appeared on Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast this week, taking a jab at her husband for mocking her over how early she likes to go to bed.
While she seemed to confirm the couple is very much still together, she did offer a sneak peek at their disagreements at bedtime.

“Bedtime is the best time of the day,” she told the host who is the wife of retired NFL star Jason Kelce in a preview clip.
“My husband teases me about how early I can go to bed. He just doesn’t understand – the idea of getting into some good sheets and it is cool,” Obama continued.
“If we have got people in the house, I’m game. I’m there, I’m talking. You know, the minute we finish up, I’m trying not to go to bed before the sun goes down,” she revealed.
When Kelce asked about her “ideal” bedtime, Obama replied with a laugh, “Man, any time after dinner.”
She speculated that perhaps the early bedtimes began when raising daughters, Malia, who is now 26, and Sasha, now 23.
“Bath time 7:00, bedtime 7:30,” the former first lady said. “I had a least a couple hours where nobody was asking me for anything.”
“Maybe that’s where I got the early bedtime from,” she added.
With her glaring absence at President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Michelle Obama, 61, added fuel to the divorce rumors. But she and her husband, 63, shared gushing Valentine’s Day messages and seemed to tamp down speculation about any split.

During the first episode of their IMO podcast, Michelle Obama spoke with her brother Craig Robinson about her husband’s tendency to be late.
“I got this husband who’s like, when it’s time to leave, it’s three o’clock, he’s getting up and going to the bathroom!” she said earlier this month. “And I was like, ‘Dude, dude, three o’clock departure means you’ve done all that,’ you know? Don’t start looking for your glasses, you know, at the three o’clock departure.”
“He’s improved over 30 years of marriage, but that was a ‘you must adjust.’”
