Trump’s ‘hot mic’ moment with Lawrence Jones not the sick-burn leftists are banking on

Desperate leftists are celebrating a “hot mic” moment of Trump getting caught… being Trump.

President Trump has enraged legacy media shills by switching up long-term protocol and allowing “right-leaning” journalists a front row seat to cabinet meetings.

At the end of the first cabinet meeting of its kind, Trump was heard joking with “Fox & Friends” host Lawrence Jones, asking him to report on how awesome the meeting was.

“Lawrence! Look at Lawrence! This guy’s making a fortune! He never had it so good!,” Trump quipped. “Lawrence, say we did a great job, please. Okay? Say it was unbelievable!”

Retired NBCUniversal Sr. Exec Mike Sington was quick to point out the nothingburger “gotcha.”

President Trump was perfectly aware that he was surrounded by press and cameras at the time, and by all Trump standards his comments were on par for how the president does business… Bombastically and Bigly.

Besides, it’s not like President Trump was asking Jones to lie.

The opening prayer delivered by HUD Secretary Scott Turner was a welcomed change for many and was what mattered most, not a light-hearted moment with friendly press.
