Elon Musk appeared to troll the United States Agency for International Development with a post about circumcision discounts.
The billionaire overseeing President Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) shared an update on his X profile this week to announce, “Circumcisions at a discount, now 50% off!”
“One of the things USAID was doing was offering free circumcisions throughout the world, but charging US taxpayers ridiculously high prices!” he wrote in a post on the social media platform.

“I decided to compete for the business,” he added.
“Over the past decade, USAID has spent millions of taxpayer dollars funding free circumcisions in Africa under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)—a program designed to combat HIV,” Mario Nawfal posted on X.
The funding was reportedly used “for surgical teams, outreach programs, and clinics to circumcise millions of men and boys,” he added.
