The president’s ultimatum wasn’t Jesse Watters’ main concern as the Fox News host addressed one “explosive” rate that he believed made coexistence with “hostile” Gaza untenable.

A day before entertaining Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein in the Oval Office, who agreed to accept Gazans as part of talks to rebuild the territory, President Donald Trump had given Hamas a Saturday deadline to release the last remaining hostages. Having continued the tough talk on the terrorists into Tuesday, Watters addressed a separate concern on “The Five” as he compared birthrates with Israel.
“The Arab world, the Europeans, the media, they’re not pressuring us. They’re not pressuring the Israelis. We have a free hand here. But this population in Palestine is hostile, it’s uneducated, it’s even more radicalized than they were at the beginning of this,” remarked the host. “I mean, now they have no homes at all. They’re even more hateful of the Israelis.”
“And their birthrate is explosive,” said Watters. “The average Palestinian woman has five an a half babies. The average Israeli woman has only two and a half babies. So demographically, they’re a threat. Not to mention the national security threat. There is no way you can have these two people living side by side.”
Co-host Greg Gutfeld had prompted Watters by asking, “‘MAGAzastan,’ do you think it’s gonna happen? Is it a negotiation tactic?”
Referring to earlier comments from co-host Jeanine Pirro, he contended Israelis and the people in Gaza could “not peacefully coexist. The two-state solution, living side by side — it’s an unrealistic expectation. So this ‘Gazastan’ is the only alternative.”
Trump, who’d been teasing at a potential future rebuild for the territory, had asserted in no uncertain terms on Monday, “If all the Gaza hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 p.m., I would say cancel the ceasefire. Let all hell break out; Israel can override it.”

“I love the deadline,” expressed Watters as he brought up the success that the president’s negotiating tactics have had with Canada and Mexico when it came to tariffs and border security. “Hamas could miscalculate because they want to stretch the negotiation. Once they give away all the hostages, they don’t have any more bargaining chips, then the ceasefire’s over and anything could happen. So they’re gonna test the Israelis and the Americans.”
Those negotiating tactics were on display again Tuesday during the visit from Abdullah as, while Trump called out Hamas as “bullies,” the King agreed to take in at least 2,000 children from Gaza who were suffering from illness.
“One of the things that we can do right away is take 2,000 children that are either cancer children or in a very ill state to Jordan as quickly as possible, and then wait for, I think, the Egyptians to present their plan on how we can work with the president to work on the Gaza challenges,” he told reporters as Trump reacted, “I didn’t know that, what you just said, 2,000 children with cancer or other problems, and that’s really a beautiful gesture. That’s really good and we appreciate it.”
