U.S. Sen. Adam Schiff got a brutal and much-deserved reality check on social media after accusing two of President Donald Trump’s nominees of breaking promises.

The glaring problem that the California Democrat and king of the “Russia hoax” missed is that he pointed a finger at Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi and FBI director nominee Kash Patel – both of whom have not even been confirmed. Trump’s picks have appeared before lawmakers in their confirmation hearings but have not been voted in, let alone sworn in.

But Schiff was eager to call them out for Trump’s actions.

Bondi said she would examine pardons on a case by case basis.

Then Trump gave 1550 pardons overnight.

He was swiftly blasted on social media.

“Bondi and Kash don’t have jobs right now because they haven’t been confirmed yet, so they haven’t done anything you’re falsely accusing them of,” The Federalist’s Sean Davis posted.

“You, however, were pardoned for committing treason against the United States,” he added, referring to the pre-emptive pardon issued by President Joe BIden as he left office.

Patel clearly got under Schiff’s skin during his confirmation hearing this week.
