GOP Rep Thomas Massie gets overwhelming result on poll to keep Mike Johnson or replace

The people on X have spoken and overwhelmingly want a new Republican Speaker of the House.

Not long after a catastrophic, last-minute, and wasteful spending bill was hacked back after fiery public debate, calls to replace one of the original bill’s biggest supporters were set into motion.

Speaker Mike Johnson was ultimately defeated in getting the 1,500+ page bill passed after details of massive spending and stifling regulations emerged on X with the help of X CEO Elon Musk and fellow head of DOGE Vivek Ramaswamy.

It was an important and momentary victory for Americans who demanded real change for a country founded on limited government and individual liberty.

But the fight for freedom never ends, and many see Johnson’s replacement as another battle that must be won to facilitate President-elect Donald Trump’s America First agenda.

To that end, Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie polled the simple question: Should Congress retain Johnson on Jan. 3rd when the issue comes up for a vote, or should they vote for someone else?

At the time of this writing, with four hours left and well over 175,000 people polled, X users decisively chose “someone else.”
