Lockheed Martin's embrace of progressive policies makes it a target in Trump’s Washington

President-elect Donald Trump is returning to Washington, D.C. in triumphant fashion, handily winning both the Electoral College and the popular vote.

As he embarks back to Washington, many of the policies that Democrats have advocated for are dead on arrival, according to Washington insiders. One of the biggest policies that Democrats championed was Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Not only did Democrats in Congress and the Biden administration advocate for these policies, but major companies spent millions of dollars building up these programs.

One of the worst offenders according to our investigative research has been Lockheed Martin, the defense contracting giant. In recent years, Lockheed Martin has embraced progressive policies from issues involving transgenderism, DEI, and appointing Democratic politicians to its board. With the nomination of Pete Hegseth to lead the Defense Department, it has become clear that Trump is taking seriously the dangers of policies like DEI.

Hegseth has made clear in a recent interview that he would go to war with DEI.

WOKE DEI POLICIES:

In 2020, during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement and the George Floyd riots, Lockheed Martin became one of the most aggressive corporations to embrace DEI policies. As first uncovered by Christopher Rufo, Lockheed Martin sent white male executives to a diversity training program to recant from “white male privilege.”

Fox News reported that 8,000 Lockheed Martin executives and employees had to go through diversity programs where they were taught things like being “a white male was analogous to being a KKK member.” Lockheed Martin’s executives bragged about having a perfect score from the far-left Human Rights Campaign and claimed Lockheed’s DEI movement is a “powerful component of Lockheed Martin’s strategy.”

TRUMP-HATING BOARD MEMBERS

Lockheed also put Democratic official Jeh Johnson on the board, who served as the Department of Homeland Security under President Obama, and was a regular contributor on MSNBC where he repeatedly slammed President Trump. He recently resigned from the board.

GOP SCRUTINY:

A senior aide to the Senate Armed Services Committee said to this outlet, “Lockheed Martin is well known among Republican staff as the most progressive, Trump-hating defense company. They’re still having company sponsored trans pride events and advertising them heavily. They’re going to face a reckoning for joining forces with the left.”

A source close to Trump’s campaign told this reporter, “Lockheed Martin is the prime example of DEI policies gone wrong. I would expect them to have a tough time with the incoming Administration, many key players in Trump’s orbit see them as toxic.”

Senator-elect Jim Banks also mentioned that DEI will be a target under the new Senate GOP majority and Trump administration, saying, “The American people spoke loud and clear when they elected President Trump and Republican majorities: they are sick of the Left’s obsession with DEI. Taxpayers should not subsidize this radical woke agenda and President Trump will put a stop to it.”
