Trump confirms Joe Rogan interview – here’s what Rogan is likely to ask

A potentially internet-breaking interview appeared to be in the works as former President Donald Trump teased a long-anticipated sit down with Joe Rogan.

Unlike Vice President Kamala Harris whose media blitz reinforced why she’d adopted President Joe Biden’s basement campaign, some of the GOP leader’s best moments came off the cuff during informal discussions.

As the respective sides sought to setup final impressions before Election Day, Trump suggested he may have scored one of the largest audiences of the cycle with a spot on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

In a preview of his interview with Full Send’s Kyle Forgeard set to premiere Monday, Trump said of the opportunity to sit down with the commentator and comedian, “Oh sure! I would. I mean, I think I’m doing it.”

“So you are going to do Joe Rogan?” asked Forgeard, seemingly surprised before the president replied with certainty, “Yeah, I am.”

While Rogan had once been opposed to giving Trump a platform, in Aug. 2023 he told entrepreneur and fellow podcaster Patrick Bet-David the questions he would ask the GOP leader if the opportunity arose.

“I would like to know what is it like when you actually get into office? I would like to know things like what is it like versus perception?” he said as he rattled off a slew of potential queries. “When do you know that people are f*cking with you? When do you know that the intelligence agency is lying to you? When you decided to fire [then-FBI Director James] Comey, what was the thought? How much did you know? What — what’s the machine like? What is the deep state really like? Really like? Cause we have all these, you know, smokey room perceptions, like from the Bill Hicks joke where they show you the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before ”

Prior to that interview, Rogan had said in the past, “I have had the opportunity to have him on my show, more than once, and I have said no every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.”

As for the all but confirmed sit down between the wildly popular podcaster and the former president, the world’s richest man appeared to have his own insight on the matter as he had said days prior to Trump’s assertion, “It will happen.”

Meanwhile, the social media account for Rogan’s podcast posed the question Saturday evening, “Do you want to see @realDonaldTrump on the podcast?”

Viewed over five million times in little more than half a day, the overwhelming response from X users was the host needed to “do it yesterday” while some suggested it would benefit Trump more for Rogan to interview Vice President Kamala Harris and air it unedited.
