‘Wonder Woman’ Lynda Carter publicly snubs Republican sister with Democrat endorsements

Actress Lynda Carter threw family loyalty to the wind as she turned her back on her sister who is running in the Arizona state representative race.

The star of the “Wonder Woman” series from the 1970s decided it was not enough to quietly decline to support her own sister, Pamela Carter, in the race or even to say nothing at all. Carter publicly announced her endorsement of her sister’s two Democratic opponents in the run for Arizona’s Legislative District 4.

Pamela Carter, a Republican who is running for the seat along with GOP candidate Matt Gress, served in the 2020 election as a state director for the Trump campaign.

“As a native Arizonan, I am proud to endorse @KelliButlerAZ and @KarenGreshamAZ for the two LD4 seats in Arizona’s State House,” the 73-year-old actress wrote on X earlier this month.

“Kelli and Karen are both strong, experienced candidates, born and raised in Arizona,” she wrote, referring to Democrats Karen Gresham and Kelli Butler.”They are working mothers fighting for the rights that matter most to Arizonans, especially every child’s right to a quality education.”

Carter has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president and her X feed is filled with gushing praise for the Democrat while promoting “Geeks & Nerds for Harris” which will be holding a livestream event this week hosted by Carter.

Pamela Carter is standing on secure borders, strong schools, and strong families.

The 75-year-old’s website says she is a “fourth-generation Arizonan” who once ran a successful sports medicine and weight training facility.

“My liberal Democrat opponents champion Joe Biden’s open border policies, but this is a critical issue that should not be corrupted by their partisan politics,” she said, according to her website.

“Our open borders are allowing human trafficking, drugs (including fentanyl), gangs, drugs, and violence to pour across our border, in record-setting quantities. This puts us all at risk, just because politicians are too busy fighting each other to fight for us. I believe we should secure the border, enforce Arizona’s laws, and stop the flow of drugs, crime, and violence,” Carter said. “Legal immigration has long been a source of strength for America and deserves its own updating, but nothing meaningful will succeed until illegal immigration is largely ended.”

Meanwhile, her sister’s snub got the applause she was likely happy about from the left.

Many other social media users were not impressed with the family split.
