‘He knows you’re suing him’: RFK Jr. recalls ‘perfect example of the kindness of Donald Trump’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. endeared an Arizona audience with anecdotes about plane rides, lawsuits, and the character of the former president.

“This story is the perfect example of the kindness of Donald Trump.”

Even after a second would-be assassin had been arrested a little more than two months after the GOP leader had an initial brush with death rabble-rousers across all levels of the leftist hierarchy continued to demonize former President Donald Trump.

Having waved goodbye to the Democratic Party, Kennedy and former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard made a stop at Arizona Christian University on the Reclaim America Tour Saturday where the environmental attorney retold a story about getting a free plane ride from the businessman, even while suing him.

“He told me he knows you’re suing him, but it’s okay anyway.”

“On two occasions, I sued him,” Kennedy had begun, earning laughs from the Glendale, Arizona crowd. “He was trying to build golf courses up in the New York City Reservoir watershed. And I sued him successfully to stop that.”

The former Independent presidential candidate continued, “At one point, my wife at that time had been trying to find…she wanted to go to Palm Beach for the weekend to see my mom over Easter, and I said I, you know, I didn’t want to buy tickets for all the kids.”

“And she said, ‘What if I find a free ride?’ I said okay. I didn’t think she was gonna do it, but then she said I found a free ride, and I said, ‘Who?'” recounted Kennedy as the enjoyment of supporters increased. “And she said Donald Trump — and I said, ‘I’m suing him!'”

“Then she said, ‘He told me he knows you’re suing him, but it’s okay anyway. I had a great time. I still sued him,” he added before shifting gears to highlight another side of Trump.

Turning to the July 13 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, the Catholic campaign surrogate explained, “After — the night that he called me after he got shot in Butler, one of the first things he said to me, he said, you know, are you a religious person? And I said well, you know, I have a deep belief in God as a spirituality which is the central organizing force in my life.”

“And he said, you know, I think I believe in that too now,” recalled Kennedy to cheers and applause.

Since the tragic rally that ended with the death of firefighter Corey Comperatore, Trump has grown increasingly vocal about his Christian beliefs and his campaign has launched a concerted outreach effort with both “Believers for Trump” and, more specifically, “Catholics for Trump.”

While it remains to be seen how turnout among those demographics will shape up for the GOP leader, users on social media embraced hearing more stories about the successful businessman who had been widely favored before taking on the Washington, D.C. swamp.
